Visit to PAYATU

Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship organized an industrial visit for the students of MBA IT to Payatu on 24th February, 2023. Payatu is a cyber security company whose mission is to secure the future of technology. The purpose of the visit was to make the students aware about the need of minimizing the impact of an exploit on software or web service in today’s digital world.

Mr. Murtuja Bharmal delivered a session highlighting the importance of cyber security. He enumerated on The Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Top 10 Web Application Security Vulnerabilities. He also enlightened the students about the bug bounty program offers which rewards the white hat hackers for finding and reporting security vulnerabilities and exploits.

Overall, the industrial visit to Payatu was an enriching and insightful experience that gave the students a better understanding of the cyber security world as a whole. The visit was successfully coordinated by Dr. Sheena Abraham. Our Director (Incharge), Dr. Porinita Banerjee motivated and supported in every aspect for the successful conduction of this industrial visit.
