Life without water is impossible. 22nd March is celebrated as World Water Day. World Water Day is an annual United Nations observance day that highlights the importance of fresh water. To commemorate the same PIMSE organized an “SAVE WATER SAVE LIFE” awareness rally, quiz on the theme “Groundwater -Making the invisible visible” and poster making on “Water Conservation, Management, Development and Sanitation’’ on March 23rd, 2022. The purpose of the same was to create awareness on proper harnessing, management and utilization of water and its resources so as to secure the future for Green life. Being a management institute we not only teach our students on honing their management skills but also illustrating the need to give back for the planet to highlight the benefits of thinking local for our environment, our economy and community. All it takes is one drop in an ocean so we at PIMSE believe that every drop counts in a way that we have displayed today towards water sustainability and will be demonstrating the same in future.

The rally started from the Institute via Golibar maidan and back to the PIMSE campus. Slogans were also enchanted by students during the rally in English, Hindi and Marathi to create awareness among the pedestrians and commuters. With this small initiative PIMSE aims to spread the message on Water Conversation for a better future. The event was successfully coordinated under the able guidance of our Director (Incharge), Dr. Porinita Banerjee. The event was executed by Dr. Anjum Sayyad, Dr. Payal Samdariya and Mr. Zafar Ahmed Khan.
