On September 13, 2023, the Social Cell of Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship (PIMSE) ‘??va’ embarked on a charitable mission to Jeevan Jyot Mandal, commonly known as Matimand School. This visit was a part of our ongoing commitment to give back to the community and support institutions that play a crucial role in nurturing underprivileged children.

The primary objective of our visit to Jeevan Jyot Mandal was to donate ten chairs to the school. We aimed to improve the learning environment and overall infrastructure of the institution, which serves as a second home to many underprivileged children in the area. The ??va members had the opportunity tointeract with the students of Matimand School. Their enthusiasm and curiosity left a lasting impression on us. We were moved by their dedication to education despite the challenges they face. We also had a productive discussion with the school's staff, including teachers and administrators. .

The visit to Jeevan Jyot Mandal was a heartwarming experience for the members of the Social Cell at PIMSE. The act of donating chairs may seem small, but it has a significant impact on the comfort and well-being of the students.
