Young Indians (Yi) is a movement for Indian Youth to converge, lead, co-create and influence India’s future. As an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a non-government, not-for-profit, industry led and industry managed organisation playing a proactive role in India's development process. Formed in the year 2002, Yi has created a platform for young Indians to work towards realizing a dream of a developed nation. It has a growing, inclusive membership across all geographies and demographics with over 4000 + direct members in 57 chapters,30000 students YUVA member from colleges. The Yi membership includes young progressive Indians between the age group of 21-45 years and comprises of entrepreneurs, professionals and achievers from different walks of life.
A session titled "Startup Procedures"along with MOU signing was conducted by the joint efforts of Yi-CII (Young Indians- Confederation of Indian Industry) officials and Director Dr. Porinita Banerjee with
faculty coordinators of PIMSE Incubation Centre Dr. Vasimraja Sayed & Mr. Mohd Talha Ahmad along with staff members of PIMSE (Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship) on 10th June, 2022. With the seminar Hall filled to its
maximum comfortable capacity, the session started at 11:30 am with a warm
welcome of the distinguished guests, Mr. Bharat Oswal, Mr.Raghevendra Bhat & Mr. Sagar Khandelwal
The speakers had an in depth discussion with the students about the varied verticals of CII Yi Yuva working process and assured to extend full fledged support for the start-ups and Incubation center at PIMSE.
To understand the pragmetic challenges of the budding entrepreneurs the stalwarts had an informal interaction which
made them look forward to the events of Yuva after they found themselves excited to join the
incubation center established by PIMSE, and tried best to answer all queries, real – life experiences were presented before the audience and how it impacted and changed their lives. All the students had a healthy discussion and learned a lot from the experiences shared
At last the session was wrapped up with a token of gratitude marking the session
as a success.
