On 21st February 2025, Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship successfully hosted a significant event marking the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Pune Management Association (PMA) to enhance educational excellence, professional development, and industry engagement.  

The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Mr. Pradeep Tupe (Vice President, PMA), Mr. Sunil Harpude (Joint Secretary, PMA), Mrs. Reshu Agarwal (Coordinator, PMA), and Mr. Kailas Kolekar (IPR Consultant), alongside faculty and students.  

Dr. Porinita Banerjee, Director (InCharge), delivered the welcome address and emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships in student development. The MoU promises industry mentorship, expert workshops, and networking opportunities. A key highlight was an insightful session on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) by Mr. Kailas Kolekar, who shared his expertise with students, explaining the fundamentals of IPR and its significance in innovation and technology.  

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, marking a successful step toward industry-academia collaboration. It was coordinated by Dr. Anjum Sayyad and Mr. Mohd. Talha Ahmad under the able leadership of Dr. Porinita Banerjee.
