Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship organized a session titled "Introduction to the Constitution" on November 18th, 2024. The session aimed to provide the students with a foundational understanding of the Indian Constitution, its significance and its role in shaping the democratic framework of the country.

Advocate Prashant Kshirsagar, Treasurer and Member of the National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) was the distinguished speaker for the session. He guided the participants through key topics such as the Preamble, Fundamental Rights, Directive Principles of State Policy and the structure of the Indian Parliament. His engaging presentation included real-world examples and case studies that illustrated the practical application of constitutional principles in daily life.

The session concluded with a thought-provoking discussion on the importance of constitutional awareness in maintaining the rule of law and ensuring the protection of individual rights. The students expressed their appreciation for the clarity with which Advocate Kshirsagar explained complex legal concepts and left the session with a deeper appreciation for the Constitution as the cornerstone of India's democratic ethos.
