Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship organized a session for the students of MBA/MBA-IT/MBA-HRD titled “Industrial Expectations from Management Graduates” on 23rd January, 2023. The main objective of the session was to enlighten the students about what the industry expects from management graduates in this VUCA world.

Mr. Prakash BimalKhedkar, Senior Director – Employee Relations, Emerson Electric Co was the speaker for the session. He highlighted the importance of behavioural competencies such as communication skills, problem solving, analytical thinking, strategic thinking, self-motivation etc. He emphasised the significance of functional competencies viz, negotiation skills, change management, network development etc. He lucidly explained the students about the traits which are required to be successful in the corporate world.

The students acknowledged the speaker and asked their questions which were answered by him. The session finally ended with the vote of thanks.
