The induction program at Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship (PIMSE) on 20th September 2024 was a well-organized and inspiring event. The day began with a breakfast session, allowing informal networking among faculty members, guests, and students. The Chief Guest, Dr. Parag Kalkar, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University, including the Guest of Honour, Mr. Karl Mascarenhas, CEO and Director of Diva Pageants,   were welcomed upon their arrival. The formal proceedings commenced with a prayer seeking blessings for the success of the event and the academic year. This was followed by a brief institute presentation showcasing PIMSE's achievements and vision.

Dr. Porinita Banerjee, Director (In-charge), delivered a warm welcome address, highlighting the institute's commitment to holistic education. Shortly after, Mr. Mascarenhas and Dr. Kalkar were introduced and felicitated for their contributions to their respective fields. The highlight of the program was the keynote address by Mr. Karl Mascarenhas, who shared valuable insights on leadership, personal development, and career growth, drawing from his extensive experience in the pageant and mentoring industries. His address was followed by an inspiring presidential address by Dr. Parag Kalkar, who spoke about the future of management education and the importance of continuous learning and adaptability in the ever-evolving professional landscape.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of everyone involved in organizing the program. A lunch and networking session followed, where guests, faculty, and students had the opportunity to engage in informal conversations. The induction program was a memorable and motivating experience for all, leaving students inspired and ready for the academic year ahead.
