Poona Institute of Management Sciences & Entrepreneurship accomplished a noteworthy event on 8th February, 2024, by hosting the Health Checkup Camp in collaboration with Pure Foundation. The initiative, named PAWAN (Pollution Awareness & Wellness Assessment Initiatives), was designed to create awareness regarding the adverse effects of pollution on health. Simultaneously, the camp offered free health checkups, focusing on conditions such as anaemia, diabetes, and lung health. The event provided a valuable opportunity for both staff and students to receive personalized guidance and support from medical experts, empowering them with the knowledge and tools to actively manage their health.

Central to the success of the health initiative was the strategic collaboration with Pure Foundation. This partnership played a pivotal role in ensuring the availability of medical professionals and necessary resources, thereby enhancing the overall impact of the camp. By uniting efforts, the institute and Pure Foundation facilitated an environment where individuals could not only gain insights into their health status but also take proactive steps towards maintaining and improving their well-being.

The Health Checkup Camp organized by Poona Institute of Management Sciences & Entrepreneurship, in association with Pure Foundation, under the banner of PAWAN, stood as a commendable effort in promoting health awareness. The event not only addressed the immediate health concerns of participants but also emphasized the long-term goal of fostering a community that prioritizes proactive health management. The collaboration with Pure Foundation underscored the importance of collective efforts in successfully executing such impactful initiatives for the benefit of the staff, students, and the broader community.
