On 22nd August 2024, a pivotal meeting was held at the Anjuman Khairul Islam Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship (PIMSE) to explore a promising global collaboration with AIESEC. Founded in 1948, AIESEC is a distinguished non-governmental, not-for-profit organization with consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council. AIESEC is dedicated to empowering youth through international exchanges and leadership development.

The meeting was graced by the presence of honorable Mr. Hani Farid, General Secretary; Dr. Hanif Lakdawala, PIMSE Chairman & Trustee AKI Trust; and Dr. Porinita Banerjee, Director of PIMSE.

Mr. Shantam Tibrewal, Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Social Sector at AIESEC, delivered an insightful presentation on AIESEC’s mission and key programs. He highlighted AIESEC’s commitment to fostering leadership and global understanding through several flagship initiatives.   Furthermore, joint social impact A student from Tokyo who is working in an NGO through AIESEC was present and was felicitated by our General Secretary.

 We look forward to further developing this partnership and achieving our shared goals of leadership development and global impact.
