A “BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION” was organized by PIMSE on January 28th 2023. The event started with an inaugural address delivered by guest judge Mr. Bharat Oswal. Our director Dr. Porinita Banerjee extended a warm welcome to the participants and Guest Judge of the program. Mr. Oswal appreciated the efforts made by students for presenting a variety of plans for the event. He emphasized that a seed of an idea will become a plant for a good business and meaningful network of professional connections. He mentored the students and gave them suggestions for improvement. The main goal of the competition was to stimulate and nourish creativity, create entrepreneurial spirit and to encourage such activities among students from any majors and examine students' business ideas for their realization capacity. The competition was quite definite. All were elated to have such massive involvement and kept the team motivated all through. Their avidity and readiness turned their presentations into the very best. Working their way to the victory were Ms. Sony Sinha who won the first prize. The second prize was won by Abrar and the third was won by Alisha. All the winners were awarded cash prizes. The session was attended by 70 participants. Students showcased their ideas in several magnitudes by creating & developing new ventures. Students learnt the ways of dealing with business uncertainties. They gained theoretical and practical knowledge from other participants & the guest judge. Students developed an overall understanding of current and future trends in business.
