On World Mental Health Day, students celebrated the importance of mental well-being through harmonising mind body & soul under the guidance of Director Dr. Porinita Banerjee. The event, coordinated by Dr. Anjum Sayyad and Mr. Mohd Talha Ahmad, aimed to raise awareness about mental health issues and promote a supportive environment.
The students showcased their creativity and passion through a skit and a nukkad natak (street play), effectively highlighting the challenges faced by individuals struggling with mental health conditions. The skit portrayed real-life scenarios, emphasizing the stigma surrounding mental health and the importance of seeking help. Through engaging dialogues and relatable characters, the students fostered empathy and understanding among their peers.
The nukkad natak further amplified the message, utilizing humor and drama to engage the audience while delivering crucial information about mental health resources and coping strategies. The interactive nature of the performances encouraged discussions among attendees, making the event not only informative but also thought-provoking.
Overall, the celebration successfully illuminated the significance of mental health awareness, encouraging students to advocate for mental well-being and support one another. The leadership of Dr. Banerjee and the coordinators played a vital role in making this event impactful and memorable.
