International Project X Culture

It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that after 5 long years PIMSE has revived its international collaboration with X Culture.  Earlier  X Culture was associated with solely University of North Carolina, as on today its association's are Lynn University, Gannon University, Florida Institute of Technology, Marywood University and Nazareth College and University of North Carolina.  The objective of this association is to provide the exposure of international project execution to our students.

 

X-Culture is a Global Collaboration Course involving theoretical training and two months of practical experience as a member of a Global Virtual Team developing high-quality business plans for multinational companies. X-Culture was initiated in 2010 by Dr. Vasyl Taras.

 

As of today, close to 5,000 Master's and undergraduate students from over 140 universities in 40 countries on 6 continents participate in X-Culture each semester. They put students into international teams of about 4-5: all students from different countries. They work as a global virtual team for two months on a business project. The performance of the students is monitored and evaluated either individually or in a group. And based on the evaluations, feedback and guidance is provided.

 

X-culture not only provides the students to understand the concept by formal training, but also give a practical approach. In X-culture, students work on real life situations and globalization problems faced by companies and then provide practical solutions.

 

PIMSE is proud to be associated with this global collaboration. Professor Coordinators of the X Culture Project are Dr. Porinita Banerjee and Dr. Sheena Abraham.

 

This year, 30 students from our institute has enrolled for X Culture International Project of duration 4th October, 2021 to 21st November, 2021. Out of 30 students, 12 students successfully completed their International project.
