The World Environment day  day is celebrated every year on 5th June to raise #globalawareness to take positive environmental action to protect #nature and the #planetearth.

It is a day that reminds everyone on the planet to get involved in environment friendly activities. PIMSE did follow the trend with the tree plantation  under the leadership of Dr.Porinita Banerjee  (In-charge  Director).

The staff were involved in the same to emphasize the fact that we are not alone on this planet and we need to take care of our surroundings as well as highlighted the importance of protection and health of the environment.

The program started with each staff member planting a #sapling in the lawns of the institute commemorating the day by keeping the environment clean and green. The day ended with a vote of thanks apart from an experiential learning for all.
