The COVID-19 pandemic and resulting economic fallout caused significant hardship to human life and associated effects. In the early months of the crisis, tens of millions of people lost their jobs. While employment began to rebound within a few months, unemployment remained high throughout 2020. With the revival of the state of Maharashtra after the first wave, the second wave further hardly hit the state.  Pune was also hardly hit in terms of loss of employment as sticker rules of employment was imposed by the state government. As a matter of concern and care PIMSE has started an initiative of “RESUME DROPBOX” which is strategically placed at the entrance of our esteemed institute for all those who wish and aspire to get placed through the Training and Placement cell of PIMSE. The campus has undergraduate students too who can benefit from this as so many were hit by salary cuts and jobs were hard to find in the pandemic as recruitment was freezed by most companies due to closing down of many MSME’s. It was inaugurated at the hands of our very own Dean, Commerce and Management SPPU, Dr. Parag Kalkar and CEO and Group Director, Suryadatta Group of Institutes, Dr. Shailesh Kasande. Dr. Porinita Banerjee was also present for the same and was the mastermind behind this innovative and unique concept.
