Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship conducted a one day customized Management Development Programme for the Principals, Vice Principals, Head Masters and Head Mistresses’ of various colleges and schools of Anjuman Khairul Islam’s Trust on 06th October, 2022 at Meritas County Resort, Lonavala. The underlying objective of the programme was to assist the Head of Institutions in making them comprehend about the changing educational environment, opportunities and challenges involved in the educational sector with special emphasis on Personal and Institutional Branding.

The trainers for the programme were Ms. Shobha Venkatesh, Co-founder, Wisdom Shrine and Kiran Dalani, Co-founder, Wisdom Shrine. They provided deep insights and shared their expertise in improving an Institution’s Brand Identity.  They highlighted on the significance of building a brand which creates an emotional connect with the various stakeholders. They explained lucidly various branding strategies by making the audience participate in various activities such as Charadas and Edward De Bone’s 6 thinking Hats strategy as part of management games.

The Management Development Programme concluded with the feedback from various participants present at the programme followed by a formal vote of thanks. The MDP was graced by the august presence of esteemed trustees of AKI Trust namely, Hon.ble Hani Ahmed Farid, General Secretary, Dr. Hanif Lakdawala, PIMSE Chairman and Mr. Mehboob Patel, Trustee.It was successfully organized and coordinated by our beloved Director (Incharge), Dr. Porinita Banerjee.
