Intellectual property rights (IPR) IPR play a crucial role in our daily lives. There isn’t a product that we encounter every day that has an IP protection. Considering the importance a session "Intellectual Property Right" was conducted at PIMSE on 24th May 2022, organised by Research & Development Cell. The Guest speaker for the session Mr Raghavendra Bhat (Innovation Consultant, INNOIPS) started the session by explaining the concept of Intellectual Property Right and its types.
He Explained students about what business is all about and how important is innovation.
He explained business may be big or small but it's start with an idea and that idea can be considered as property . The session also covered the concepts of patient, design, copyright, trademarks etc. along with types of IPR with real examples. The presentation was full of practical examples backed up by intresting videos. Mr.Raghavendra Bhat also cleared all the doubts and questions raised by the students in detail with examples during Q&A session.
The session was successfully organised under the guidance of our Director Dr. Porinita Banerjee. The session was quite informative and students felt thankful for organising such an enriching and Intellectual session.
