AKI’s Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship organized its annual flagship event of food, art and crafts carnival – FESTINA 2023, which featured student-run food stalls serving a variety of cuisines and dishes, under the able guidance of our Director in charge Dr. Porinita Banerjee. Chef Annasaheb Patole from Hotel Sayaji and Chef-Owner, Emmer Bakery Ms. Trusha Phulphagar being the Jury member for selecting the best stall based on criteria such as taste, presentation, and originality. These types of events can be a great opportunity for students to showcase their talents, network with like-minded individuals, and gain exposure to a wider audience.
The event witnessed the products display from PIMSE’s Startup and Incubation cell. This show casted our student entrepreneurs with the goal of securing funding and support to bring their ideas to life. Festina 2023 created a supportive environment for students to develop their entrepreneurial skills and help them turn their ideas into businesses.
Overall Festina 2023 was a large-scale event organized by the institute that showcased the talents, skills, and creativity of its students. Under the leadership of Dr. Porinita Banerjee the event was coordinated by Dr. Anjum Sayyad and Mr.Talha Ahmed where the goal is to encourage students to develop their entrepreneurial skills and turn their innovative ideas into successful businesses.
