With this note, AKI’s Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship, Pune organized “Budget Awareness Programme” on Friday 11th February at 11 am on Google meet platform with the Institutes and Colleges across Maharashtra. 

An Union Budget is the annual financial statement of the estimated receipts and expenditure of the government for a particular year. The aim of this program was to make students understand the Union Budget in its real sense.

During the session, students were made to understand and connect with the terms like fiscal deficit, revenue budget and many other terms. This session threw light on implication of budgets on different sectors like Digital, Technology, Education, Health, Railways, Logistics, Agriculture to quote a few.

Dr.Payal Samadariya addressed the students and the session was successfully executed   with the help and support extended by  Dr.Porinita Banerjee, Director(Incharge) and vetsatile  faculty members of PIMSE.
